Hi Everyone.. We are finally back on the road again... Yay!!!! The last post was from Katherine and that was our first stop.. In May 2013 we landed in NT and we stayed Howard Springs for 1 month (very bloody expensive) then moved onto Robbie Robbins polocrosse grounds for 3 weeks and then we moved over to Bees Creek to our friend Debs place. Deb wanted a section of overgrown bush/jungle/mahogany trees cut down and we offered to do it..at the same time we helped Lizzy do a bathroom reno too... After a month of cutting, delivering to bon fire, more cutting bathroom Reno etc we went to Bali for a month. (Someones gotta do it)
While we were in Bali My mum had a stroke and I had to fly home early, Dave and Billy flew onto Darwin as previously planned and then flew to Newcastle 10 days later for my gorgeous girl Emmas wedding.
On return to Darwin we decided to stay on and see" A WET" it was fantastic. The storms were unbelievable and it was unreal how quickly everything turned green that was normally sooo brown and dry. Deb said we could stay on as long as we wanted and Dave took over the maintenance of the BLOCK, Billy had chook and horse duties and I helped Dave where I could.. Domestic Goddess duties most of the time for me haha.. Debs laundry was in much need of repair so Dave and I gave it a reno as well. It came up amazing. We lined the walls and ceiling in color-bond low profile stuff. It looked great in the end.. Dave became plumber, electrician carpenter groundsman, painter and landscaper. When we landed in Darwin we thought we'd stay for a month or 2 and 11 months later we finally left. While we were there we got around to see the area and as you will see in fotos below we made some great friends and saw some great things.
