Fremantle and Rottnest Is.
We went for a walk in Fremantle park while we had new shoes put on "The Moose"
Billy felt sorry for this bloke carrying this all on his own and thought he would lend a hand at the Boat harbour in Fremantle.
Can I Mum??? Please, just one shot....
We went on the train tour at Rotty and we were the only ones on the tour so Billy got to drive the train to and from Oliver Hill Gun site. In this shot he is getting final instructions. He was actually allowed to start it and honk the horn and drove it all the way. Something else to go on his resume...Experienced Train Driver!!!!
The trip up the hill, the real driver did have to stay close by...
On arrival at the end of the line...
Billy was the only one who stripped off and went snorkelling at Little Salmon Bay at Rottnest. He said there were thousands of fish there. It looked so nice but it was a tad chilli.

Mandurah and Dwellingup
This is one for Lorry. Dave just sitting on" another rock."
We were expecting to see a nice little beachside town in Mandurah BUT... this is what we saw instead, lots and lots of PROGRESS...
Just another action shot. You cant keep Bill still unless he's watching "Tom n Jerry" cartoons.
These are shots from Lane Poole Reserve in Dwellingup.
This is a great shot in the Lane Poole reserve near Dwellingup. It looks like its painted. The rocks were so smooth and the water was full of tannens?? and froth.

Billy's flat.
This is where Billy lives now. He snored too much so we told him to go and get his own place and this is what he got. BILLYS FLAT. It only has one bedroom but thats all he needs. We will still feed him etc...There is actually a leg of lamb in the oven behind Dave. We only have the end wall of the annex up because it was a bit blowy to cook, Billy has been sleeping just in his tent. He loves it.
Bunbury races
Augusta
This is one of the many cows that you can see around Margaret River and the SW of WA. They were everywhere. People from different businesses had them decorated and displayed them near their winery etc and they will all be auctioned off for charity at a later date. At the moment there is a cow trail you can do to find the lot. There were approx 120 cows, we only saw about 20. They are all named. This one was a Moomy not a Mummy.
Emma looking gorgeous at an original waterwheel that used to supply water to the lighthouse at Augusta. The spring stills runs today.
Just another pirate cow that you find in SW Australia.
Dave posing for the camera at Augusta.
This is Lighthouse at Augusta where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean.

Busselton and Margaret River wineries.
Mother and Daughter having a couple of champagnes and just taking it easy.............warming up for the winery tour tomorrow.
Winery No.1. I was quite gone after first tasting. It was only 10.45am. I dont usually start till 11am.
We had a day out on a Bushtucker wine tour. What a day!!! We tasted 40 wines, had a glorious lunch, went to a cheese and dairy factory and a chocolate factory and a brewery.(in that order too). As we got off the bus our guide wanted a photo as we were the biggest p----pots for the day. Or at least Dave was. He even got a free doormat for getting so much wine....
We visited a chocolate factory too and Dave was very pleased as he could go back as many times as he wanted, so he took a paper bag. It was only meant to be what you could carry in your hands. Yeah right!!!!
This is how we ended the day at A Brewery. Em and Dave polished off a tasting tray.
This is the famous Busselton jetty and Dave brought us here to show us specially only to find that they are renovating and it wont be reopened till the end of the year. Bugger... We could walk on the first 200m and that gave you a little taste of the real thing.
This was our setup while Emma was over for hols. Take note of the grey power pole as this was the one that bit Billy. Emmas tent eventually got flattened in a storm the day she left.
This is what happened to Billys face at Busselton. We had only been in the park for 10mins setting up when Billy was kicking the footy and kicked the ball up and kept his eyes on the ball and didnt see the power pole in front of him. Damage was done to his left cheek and his nose. He was only bent like this for 2weeks. The bruising came out the next day and has only just started to go away now. Poor bugger!!!!
Emma spotted this little fella in the creek on our walk to the beach. She spotted it, Dave dived in with rake in hand and chased him all over the creek until he got him. He ended up on crackers for afternoon tea.
Another one of the painted cows. We thought this one was very nice. It was in Busselton near the jetty.

Walpole to Bridgetown
This is on the riverbanks of the Blackwood river at Bridgetown and one of our most generous hosts Chris(owner of the FC holden)
This was our transport whilst we were in Bridgetown. On this day we went to the local markets.
Billy could tee off straight outside the van when he wanted to practice. This was our view at Lorraine and Chris's at Bridgetown. We stayed here for Easter and had a wonderful time.
HOST WITH THE MOST.... Our host shows us how you decant wine.. Sure Chris!!!! It was only a bottle from 1981, so it was just an OLD ONE......
We went for a picnic at Donnelly River Mill Town and it was truly lovely. We had emus and kangaroos walking around us while we ate. Afterwards we went for a bush walk to try and find an old graphite mine, which we eventually found. We also found an old property known as the SWAMP which has some very interesting old tales about the place.
We drove past this house thinking that they had statues in the front yard until we got toooo close and they scattered. Twas quite funny.
You can travel by 4WD, car or Emu around here.
We went off the beaten track with Chris and Lorraine in search of the SWAMP.
This was a channel dug by two brothers who owned this SWAMP and they dug this to drain their property. It was 1klm long and they dug it by hand with a pick and a shovel. It was up to 10ft deep in some places. It took them several years. It was pretty well solid rock most of the way.
Dave standing next to this beautiful specimen of a Black Boy, ooops sorry Grass tree or as they are now known an Australian Fire tree.
These are some of the gorgeous colours throughout the graphite mines grounds. It was very pretty.
This is the skywalk amongst the Valley of the Giants near Walpole. The walk thru the tops of the trees was beautiful. Some of these trees grow as high as 75m whoa!!!!
This shot shows you the size of these massive trees. It doesnt seem like there is much still holding these things to the ground but it seems there is enough.
These trees were mind blowing with their size.

Albany and surrounds
Billy stands beside the skeleton of a blue whale at the Whale-world centre near Albany. It was amazing. I wouldn't like to come across one of these in the water. It was massive.
This is a shark cage used at the whaling station to check the pipelines between the station and the ships in the harbour. They needed these cages as they would be swimming in a heap of blood from the dead whales. These bars would allow a not so small shark thru them and I wouldnt like this job.
This is at Whaleworld again and look at the beautiful water. Years ago this water would have been solid red with blood from the whales that were killed here.
If you look real close you can see Dave and Billy doing the Toyota add. I was petrified and couldn't walk over where they were. It was so fardown if they fell. This shot was taken at the Natural Bridge near Whaleworld.
This is Billy standing on clifftops at Salmon Beach. It doesnt look very far down in the picture but it really was.
