MERRY XMAS 2009

Inside as well.....
As you can see, the car and the van didnt escape the decos....

Merry Xmas to All. We had a wonderful Chrissy, as you can see Santa was very good to us. We are at Victor Harbor in the South of SA on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The weather has been a bit iffy. On Wednesday we had 42degs and then on Thursday it went down to 20degs. Bloody crazy!!!! But good for a xmas bakey. Xmas day was really good, we were on the ph most of the morning and Billy got a whoopey cushion for xmas and he thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. We are still putting up with it and it is 27/9/09, it hasnt busted yet. Dont know what the neighbours are thinking. Billy and I just keep blaming Dave.Hahaha. Santa spoilt us all and we still think he is a great bloke.

Strathalbyn, Tailem Bend

Yesterday we had 39.4deg and today we have 16deg and rain. What a confused weather system SA have.... So we went for a drive around to Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend and had some fun in the park..
I told Billy to get off, it's my turn. He wouldn't believe me so I pushed him off and was about to stomp on him but there were people watching. Bugger!!!!
Denise and Billy playing in the Park at Tailem Bend.

Glenelg Jetty

Ok, we are a bit out of order but thats what happens when you drink red wine and try to update your blog. We are now back at Glenelg west of Adelaide. We went for a drive there from Mount Pleasant. It was a very pretty place.

Making our way through SA and south.

This was another fantastic free camp on the Murray at a place called Mereim Common back near Mildura. Billy and Dave were fishing right near the van. Too easy. To fish that is, not catching them...
Don't do it Dave!!!!! Billy was only joking, you really are a good Golfer..... This is at Swan Reach on our way to Mount Pleasant. I was nearly sick when he was that close to the edge. It all ended well, he believed Billy.
Here we are on the ferry heading towards Mount Pleasant, crossing the Murray.
Denise doing it tough at Mt Pleasant showground after a big day of wine tasting. This was a great little spot. It had great clean amenities and plenty of room for Billy to kick the ball, practice golf and watch Gymkhana???s We stayed here for 4 nights and did plenty of wine tasting.
Billy at the Whispering Wall. What an amazing place.

Dave's new job...(caddie) and a few random shots

This is our Navigator sorting our next venture...looks a bit confused if you ask me!!!
OH WHAT A FEELIN!!!! Guess where I've been. Got a little spring in my step... Hahahaha
This is the town that makes Giant's toilet rolls. So my dad and Billy say. These ones hadn't been wrapped yet. I think they would be a bit rough on the old backside....don't you????
Billy had a blinder on this course, he actually parred the 7th. He had many people watching him. One lot of people let Billy play thru and when he had his shot it went onto the green in one shot and they all cheered. It was pretty impressive. Take note of the caddy in the background. Dave took up being caddy after he was beaten by Billy tooo many times. He figured it was easier to watch than play against him. (less humiliation)

Bill off to war.

Billy had been playing up in Canberra on his bday so we signed him up for Battle. If only the uniform had fitted, he was in... Lucky for Bill...

Little Town called Howlong

Go on Bill, just put a stick in and see how deep it is. You'll be OK.. SURE!!!!!
This is our camp on the edge of the Murray. See it in the distance.
Here we are again, doin it tough next to the Murray and guess what time it is. BEER o'clock. We are all by ourselves, no one to be seen for miles. AND its FREE!!!!

On The Road Again.....

Well Hi all, we are finally back on the road. We had a little stop in Belmont as Denise's mum wasn't well and we stayed a few weeks to help out a little. While we were there we changed over our car and caravan as seen in picture. The car(The Moose) is a bloody beauty and so is the van, which gives us a bit more room. We didnt catch up with many people as we were pretty busy changing cars n vans over and looking after Denise's Mum n Dad.

Canberra

Dave and Bill had fun on this spinning ball throwing machine. They had to throw and catch balls to each other, which was quite funny to watch.
This is a fantabulous place called Cockington Green. Billy said "do I have to come to this place?" and in the end we couldn't get him out of there. We couldn't believe the amount of work that must go into this place on a daily basis. It was truelly an unbelievable and well worth goin to place...
These model trains were a big hit with Billy and Us. Bill could have stayed at these all day.
Billy was blown away with all the sporting miniatures. This was cricket.
This was aflasher running around Cockington Green.
This Dave n Billy at Telstra Tower and Billy is holding his waterproof camera he got for his bday.

Canberra and Billy's 8th bday

I had a great bday, this was my cake(just something mum whipped up) that I had with all my friends as you can see. The photos below are where I went on my bday. Don't think many other kids get to go to Parliament on thier 8th bday. I also went to the mint and made a new dollar coin on my bday.
This is the oppisite view to the one below...
Well, here we are, at UNCLE MALCOLM'S house. woops not his house anymore, as of the day we were there. Billy's bday. We had a great day and actually saw Abbot but not Costello.hahaha
